Launch

50 weeks to the cannon (or Drew hitting the hooter) and its time to hook-up with the fellow Class of 2012 virgins. To my current knowledge, Shano, Ads, JP, Leo, John - buckle up chaps.

Whether this thing fails into a screaming heap in Week 1 or Week 50, or whether its a thorough success won;t change the future. This is definitely a once only endevour for me. Youtan Poluo

Today marks official commencement, though a "launch" would seem appropriate at some point soon. A minor head cold on Day 1 might end up slowing things down a bit this week in any case, but its a minor aside.

Blacktown 10k yesterday. Even accounting for not having many miles in the training legs, I didn’t understand why I ran so slow (47.11), at least until the photos came out today confirming that my morphus into Barney Rubble is now complete.

HABITS - 10 weeks until the end of July, and the goal for this phase is simply to get the right habits in place - nothing hard - nothing long - just 10 consistent weeks:
 > Up by 5:45am – and be into sessions EVERY morning by 6:00, finishing 60minutes later at 7:00. 
 > Get diet in order – "eat real food"
§  Get work food organized the day before to save eating junk from the machine
§  Daily bananas and raisin for alkaline to assist in arresting nitrogen bleaching from my aging body
§  Almonds and fish oil tablet for inflammation and Omega 3
§  Green vegies and Vit C&E for management of cell damage and free radicals
 > Stretch and basic strength exercises EVERY night for 20minutes
 > Get next morning clothes out the night before to assist int he early morning organisation process.
 > Get to bed by 10:00 every night
